Nicox attends 116th Annual AOA Congress in San Diego

Nicox S.A.(NYSE Euronext Paris: COX) is attending the 116th Annual AOA (American Optometric Association) Congress, taking place from June 26 to June 30 in San Diego, California, United States (US). Nicox can be found at booth number 1707.
Nicox’s US operational team, including Jerry St Peter, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Nicox Inc., will present AdenoPlus®, a rapid point-of-care diagnostic test that aids in the differential diagnosis of acute conjunctivitis launched by Nicox in the US in October 2012.
The US operational team will also be available to discuss about the Dry Eye panel for Sjögren’s Syndrome, a novel product that Nicox recently added in its ophthalmic diagnostics pipeline. This new proprietary laboratory test supports the early diagnosis of Sjögren’s Syndrome, one of the most prevalent and underdiagnosed of all auto-immune diseases, with dry eye being among the early signs and symptoms. The test was approved by US regulatory authorities in 2013, and is available to practitioners across North America (see Nicox press release dated June 19, 2013). Nicox is planning a full commercial launch of this product in the 2nd half of the year.
