	Staffan STRÖMBERG - Vice President Drug Development


	Dr. Strömberg has a Ph.D. and MSc. from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden.As the Vice President of Drug Development, Dr. Strömberg is responsible for all non-clinical development and project management at NicOx, including overseeing all of the company’s chemistry and formulation, manufacturing, toxicology, pharmacokinetics and metabolism and quality assurance. Dr. Strömberg joined the company after serving as the Director of Neuroscience Portfolio Optimization at AstraZeneca plc. Prior to that he held other positions within AstraZeneca, including Project Manager for the CINOD class (COX-inhibiting nitric oxide-donating compounds). With over 10 years of experience in drug discovery, Dr. Strömberg has also been Head of Research and Development at Swedish Orphan AB, where he was a member of the management team and responsible for strategic portfolio management at all stages of development. Dr. Strömberg has authored 17 international publications on drug discovery .
