Jean-Luc
Bélingard is, since January 2002, President
and CEO of the Ipsen Group, an independent
European pharmaceutical company which
specialises in oncology, endocrinology and
neuromuscular disorders.
Jean-Luc Belingard, 57, is a graduate from
Hautes Etudes Commerciales, a leading French
business school, and holds an MBA from Cornell
University. He has spent the past 28 years in
the pharmaceutical industry working with Merck
& Co and Roche, where he was member of the
Corporate Executive Committee and CEO of Roche
Diagnostics. More recently, Mr. Bélingard
joined Pierre Fabre in 1999 as Vice Chairman
and CEO and was appointed CEO of BioMérieux-Pierre
Fabre in 2000.
Jean-Luc Bélingard sits on the Board of
Celera Genomics, Laboratory Corporation of
America, Exonhit Therapeutics and Inserm.
